Our Life Skill Class visited UIS Sangamon Auditorium to see "Experience Decades Through Dance" by the Copper Coin Ballet Company. The students enjoyed the production. Students even used their skills maneuvering the SMTD bus system to get to the performance! They would like to thank UIS for the free tickets!

Thank you to the Springfield Public Schools Foundation for the grant funds used to purchase items for our Life Skills Classroom apartment located in Ms. Landon & Ms. Hawkins' room at Lanphier High School.
With these funds, items were purchased that will give students the opportunity to practice dusting, making beds, hanging and folding clothes, and they can even enjoy reading while sitting on the apartment futon!

Ms. Johnson’s freshmen English classes successfully “broke out” of the LHS Library Escape Room, by proving their knowledge of the 1960's Civil Rights Movement! They are worthy Black history geniuses!
