PROJECT SCOPE: As you know District 186 regular calendar students do not return to school until Tuesday, January 7 (Balanced Calendar students return January 14th). However, our SCOPE program for SCOPE students will still be in operation as scheduled for Monday, January 6, but run condensed hours and locations:
Tomorrow Monday, January 6, 2025 - Scope will be open from 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Donations are used to support programming for students, materials for teachers, projects around the school, and to show appreciate to school staff throughout the year. Lincoln Magnet School is hosting their informational open house for all 5th grade families this Thursday, November 7th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Miles of Smiles, Ltd. is providing preventive dental services at your school to
eligible children in all grades.
Services may include exam, cleaning, fluoride varnish,
and sealants if needed.
This also satisfies the dental requirement mandated by the State of Illinois
for school children (Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 9th).
Please sign up your child today to receive this
wonderful service.
There is no cost to the family or school.
After the services are performed, the following entities will be billed where applicable:
IL Medicaid program, public/private grants, or private dental insurance.
Miles of Smiles, Ltd. will accept any reimbursement as the final payment (even if the
claim is denied). The families and the schools are never billed for any co-payments,
deductibles, or balances.
There is never any cost to the school or to the families.

UNITED WAY - This week we continue our Coin Wars! Any loose change students can put in their grade-level jars at the front entrance to see what grade-level collects the heaviest collection of coins to earn their grade-level delicious ice cream treats.
We are also dressing up this week, we are asking for a dollar donation each day as we dress up for United Way dress up week.
Tomorrow is Hat Day! Bring a dollar and wear your favorite hat!
