We are going to have to move our games tmrw to Rotary Park, as last nights inch of rain soaked Lawless even more and it is not playable according to the park district. So we will have an A game and a B game tmrw at Rotary Park vs. Greenville. We’re asking the girls to please be on time to the field by 9AM. The first game begins at 10AM.

Due to field conditions and the rain continuing throughout the morning, we are moving the game to a turf field at Spartan Sports Park (7250 Iron Bridge Rd in Chatham). We will play on field 3. The cages will be available and field 2 can be used for warm-ups. There is still a chance of storms this afternoon so we will continue to monitor.
Spartan Rules:
No sunflower seeds (or seeds of any kind).
No gum allowed.
No metal cleats. Molded spikes and turf shoes are fine.
We will be fined if we do not follow these park rules.
Baseball Practice Wednesday August 7th will be at the SHS New Street Field from 5:30-7 pm. Parent meeting to follow.

The Keep Kids in School Coalition will be offering physicals and immunizations for District 186 students on Wednesday, August 7th at the Sangamon County Department of Public Health. Sign-in hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
No appointment needed.
The clinic will only serve District 186 students who are entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade and those who are new to Illinois who must provide a current physical exam and immunization record. All 12th grade students must provide proof of having received a dose of the meningococcal vaccine on or after their 16th birthday. The legal parent or guardian must accompany their child.
No sports physicals will be offered. Thank you!
Softball tryouts for Thursday 8/1 will also be held at the New Street Field by SHS from 5:30-7. Please bring plenty of water!

Update: The band trip buses (6th and 7th grade) are on their way home with an ETA of 4:45. Due to the incident near Southeast high school earlier this morning we are going to cancel the middle school discus event that was to be held at southeast today. We will work to reschedule this event.
