The Lanphier SGA will be selling t2024-2025 Parking Permits.
Permits will be sold in the Lanphier student parking lot (weather permitting / If not inside the Atrium) on Wednesday August 14, Thursday August 15, and Friday August 16 from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.
Students need $40 cash and proof of insurance.
Lanpher Volleyball Tryouts will be August 13th in the Main Gym - Lober-Nika Gymnasium

Hello LHS Families!
If your student is interested in playing a sport this upcoming school year, please make sure that your athlete has an up-to-date sports physical. Students will not be eligible to participate (practice/play) without an up-to-date sports physical. On the physical form, please make sure the physician marks that your student may participate in interscholastic sports/activities.
Incoming 9th graders and 12th graders need to have immunizations.

General Info-
The time for your Senior Portrait by Lifetouch Photography is quickly approaching. Lifetouch will be Lanphier on Monday, August 5th. Please use this link to schedule your appointment. Photo sessions are provided at no cost and there is no commitment to purchase the photos. The photo taken by Lifetouch will be included in the Senior Portrait section of the LAN-Hi Yearbook.

Where to go?
We ask that you arrive at Lanphier 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Parking is available in lot C, located on the northwest corner of 11th Street and Converse Ave. Look for the signs identifying the entrance and directions to the ????.The photographers will be located in the Atrium. When finished, students will exit the building through the doors by the North Office.
What to Wear?
Each student can be photographed in 2 outfits. We ask that one photo be taken in dress attire such as dresses, blouses, slacks, dress shirts and ties, dress pants, and jackets. This is the photo that will be included in the LAN-HI Yearbook. The second outfit may be of your own choosing.
How to Order Photos?
A Lifetouch order form will be available on the LHS website after the picture proofs are delivered to school. This should occur during the first couple weeks of school. Paper copies of order forms will also be available following delivery of picture proofs.
To all potential athletes,
Cross-Country Conditioning will start on Monday July 8th from 8:00am-9:30am and will run Monday thru Thursday.
We will meet at Lanphier High School (Memorial Stadium Outdoor Track).

********Please note the updated information about returning your Chromebooks to Lanphier.
We will be collecting computers Thursday and Friday this week and Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
- Mrs. Miller and the Admin want to minimize any disruptions during Exams, therefore, we have made some clarifications (in red) as listed below.
- Students will come down to the Gardner Gym with their computer and charger.
- Computers need to be charged to 80% so we can safely shut them down for summer storage.
- If students do not have their charger then they will be charged $30 by the district unless they can find the charger and return it prior to next Wednesday.
- Once students turn in their computer another one will not be checked out to take a final so please stress not to turn it in until their last final is completed.
Students must remain in their Exam room until the dismissal bell.
Schedule:
5/23 Thursday-Students can return their device at any point during the lunch period that begins at 11:35am. Tech Staff will remain in the Gardner Gym until 3:00pm
5/24 Friday-Students can return their device at any point during the lunch period that begins at 11:35am. Tech Staff will remain in the Gardner Gym until 3:00pm
5/28 Tuesday-Students can come to school from 9AM-2PM to return their device.
5/29 Wednesday-Students can come to school from 9AM-2PM to return their device.
***Note #1: If students are not taking their final exams, then they can meet with Mr. Weir or Mr. Jordan on Wednesday to complete the return process. We will be available on Day 1 of Finals as well.
***Note #2: All students must return their Chromebook. New/refurbished Chromebooks will be issued if a student attends summer school or when they return next fall.
***Note #3: Failure to return a Chromebook results in a charge of $200 - $300 being placed on the student's account.
Note #4: To Minimize Distractions/Disruptions: Once a student enters class during Exams, then the student must remain in the class until the dismissal bell.

- No Walk Outs (if a student leaves w/o permission, then issue an "F" for their Exam grade.

Tonight the students rocked the house! They performed in the new band room.
We are so proud to announce that Life Skills student, Christian Wallace, just graduated from Project Search. Christian graduated from LHS last year and was able to be a part of this internship program where students work with a job coach to learn job skills at various stations at Memorial Hospital. Christian plans to start his new job at Goodwill Industries in the janitorial department soon. We are very proud of him and his accomplishments!
