Lanphier Families, We have an important traffic alert for next week, Monday, April 24, 2023 through Friday, April 28th. Due to CWLP doing work on the water main, the eastbound lane of Converse Street starting at 11th Street will be closed to all traffic. Student drop-offs and pick-ups will not be allowed on Converse Street. We are routing all student drop-offs and pick-ups to the nearby Caritas Bingo Hall parking lot. (Please see map below.) Please plan to adjust your morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up accordingly as we work through this minor traffic inconvenience. We appreciate your patience.The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority and we value open communication with our families.

Lanphier High School students enjoyed their time at the High School to College Mixer hosted by the Diversity Center at UIS. High school students were able to interact with current UIS students and explore different departments and organizations.

Due to a staff meeting on Tuesday, April 4th, we will not hold after school tutoring, mega detentions, or credit recovery. Our regularly scheduled PM School will take place. Thank you.

Congratulations to Lanphier Alum Laney Parker for being named First Team All Conference for the Arrowhead Conference! Laney is a two sport collegiate athlete in her first year at Black Hawk College! We are proud of you!

UPDATE: The girls soccer game scheduled to be played today has been rescheduled for tomorrow (3/15/23) @ Lee Field 4:30 p.m.

Due to the temperature and will chill today’s girls soccer game v. Southeast has been canceled.
