After school tutoring will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 160.

The Minority Vision and Action Club is ready to start meeting this year! MVA is a place to have discussions with fellow classmates about a variety of topics, finding new and different ways to help our community, and looking for ways to impact Springfield High and Springfield as a whole. If that interests you, join MVA for a meeting today from 3:30-4:30 in Room 124.

There will be a 21st Century meeting on Dec.1st in the Cafeteria interested students and parents at 3:30 pm.

Students, please pick-up your SMTD bus passes in 166 before or after school.

The boys basketball team lost a heartbreaker in the holiday tournament championship game Saturday. Carlos Day and Brandenn Robinson were named to the all-tournament team. The team will return to action on Tuesday night against Decatur Eisenhower.

Springfield High Wrestling opened its season with two hard fought losses to Edwardsville and O'fallon before closing out the day with a win against Collinsville. Senior Armani Emery lead the way with a 3-0 start to his season with 2 pins.  Also securing pins for the senators was Kaden Rios, Gabe Ruvalcaba, Hunter Reid, and Demarion Holmes. The wrestling team heads to Warrensburg-Latham this Friday for its next competition.
