Last call for students who want to sign up for the PSAT/NMSQT .  The PSAT/NMSQT is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for juniors.   The due date to sign up is September 9th and the date of the test is October 12th.  The cost of this test is $18 and cash or checks must be paid in the Guidance Office by Sept 9th.  Any questions? The Superintendent’s Student Roundtable is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year. The group provides a forum for youth to strengthen unity between all local high schools, and the community. Achtung Achtung SHS, The German Club will be holding our first meeting on Monday, September 12th, after school from 3:30-4:30pm in room 250. We will be hosting the Gummy Bear Winter Olympics for our kickoff activity. Test your skills in bobsledding, racing, trivia, engineering, and crafting all while enjoying German gummy bears! All students are welcome to join German Club regardless of any languages previously taken! If you would like to join, fill out the form on the SHS website. Today we will be redeeming Senator Cash on both lunch shifts in the Commons. All items will be 2 Senator dollars.

The boys golf team split their match last night at Panther Creek.  SHS shot a 154.  SHG carded a 147 and Glenwood finished with a 157.  Jake Baldin and Peyton Woods led the Senators with 37’s each.  The rest of the team all shot 40’s.  

Model UN will meet tomorrow (Friday) after school in room 354.

It’s not to late to join SHS Scholastic Bowl. Practices are Thursdays at 6:30 in Mrs. Eaton’s room 366. 

The girls golf team finished 2nd in their triangular match against at Piper Glen last night 8 strokes behind SHG and 8 strokes ahead of Glenwood.  Junior Kendall Knauer led the Senators with a 43, followed by Katie Chen with a 45, Madelyn Beck with a 46, and Megan Hoffman with a 47.  Tonight the team faces off with Williamsville at the Rail.
