The baseball team took a 1 to nothing lead into the bottom of the 6th last night, but the Eagles of Dunlap put together a rally to top the Senators by a 5 to 1 score. Brody Scheffler led the way with an excellent performance on the mound, striking out 11 and walking only 2 while allowing only 3 hits over 5 innings. Scheffler also drove in the lone run in the 6th when he and Arthur Davison hit back to back, two out doubles. Unfortunately, the Solons were only able to muster two other hits for the day with one apiece coming from Liam Watts and Wade Snyder. Next up is the CS8 opener today at MacArthur at 4:30.
And Now the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
