  • If you are feeling down or stressed this week,  try one of these tips from Be A Senator club. Put down your phone, spend time outside, create artwork, go for a walk, play a game or sport, spend time with positive people or do something else you enjoy. For more tips, don’t forget to visit the BAS table in the commons this Wednesday. 


  • Students, if you need help with your classwork or homework, After School Tutoring is held in Room 266 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.


  • Students, don’t forget: The Peace Room is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30-2pm to any student needing support and a safe space to assist with mental health concerns. Check your Canvas to sign up or ask Mrs. Coley!


  • Final Score Springfield 56  Rochester 45. Senators finish the season 18-12 overall and 8-2 in the CS8 for second place.

  
Elijah Wade  15 Points and 6 Rebounds, Valor Komolafe  13 Points 10 Rebounds,   Noah Wade 10 Points 6 Rebounds, and Jaiyden Wilson 10 Points 2 Steals. 


  • The Lady Senator basketball team started out the postseason by beating Jerseyville 52 to 32. SHS was led in scoring by Keziah Toran with 25 points and Ariana Williams with 11. Next up for SHS is the regional final at Jacksonville on Thursday against Quincy Notre Dame starting at 6.


  • Congratulations to Bryce Bryant for qualifying for the State Tournament this past weekend!  Bryce will travel to Champaign this Thursday to try and earn a state medal.  Congrats to Cody Stevens, Shamar Brownlee, and Oliver Record-Frank for making it to sectionals.
