  • Pizza Pizza Pizza Thursday Thursday Thursday. Be A Senator Club will be selling Papa John’s pizza this Thursday in the commons during both 

lunch shifts. It is $2 per slice or you can redeem 5 Senator dollars for one slice. We purchased extra pizza so we shouldn’t sell out like we did last time!


  • “Students, if you need help with your class work or homework, After School Tutoring is held in Room 220 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m."


  • Students, don’t forget: The Peace Room is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30-2pm to any student needing support and a safe space to assist with mental health concerns. Check your Canvas to sign up or ask Mrs. Coley!

  • LLCC Financial Aid office will be offering 1 FAFSA night for Springfield Public Schools District #186 on December 18th from 5:30-7pm at Southeast High School 2350 East Ash Street.  LLCC Financial Aid staff will assist students of all District #186 high schools in completing the 2025-2026 FAFSA.  If possible, students should complete their FSA ID prior to the event, and guardians have their 2023 tax information available.

  • Attention performers there will be an informational meeting for Poetry Out Loud today in Mrs. Eaton’s room 366. This is a great opportunity for seasoned and novice performers.

  • If you want to be a champion for the Class of '26 and help fundraise for an epic prom, all you have to do is buy some delicious food from Panera on Thursday, December 12th from 4-8pm! While you get to devour tasty salads, sandwiches and treats, the junior class gets money! So grab your bestie, your crush, or Grandma... everyone is invited and appreciated. 

  • Help pen in the box spread holiday cheer. Candygrams will be sold today during both lunch shifts and delivered on Dec 17th. Money raised will support pen in the box donations to 186 elementary schools.

  • Final exam exemption forms are available for pick up in the guidance office. Make sure you pick up your correct grade level as they are sorted by grade and color. Exemption forms are due in guidance on Monday, December 16th by 3:30 p.m., no exceptions on late forms, they will not be allowed. Remember to exempt from a final exam, you must qualify in all criteria and maintain exemption status through the entire first semester.

  • A reminder that auditions for the school musical, Mean Girls, will be TONIGHT (Tuesday, December 10th) in the Mrs. Mathenia’s room (233). You can use the QR code on the pink posters around the building to sign up for a time. If you need audition cuts, see Mrs. Mitchell in room 226

  • The Boys Tennis meeting location  for Today Tuesday December 10th has been moved to the library room 303 at 3:30.  Boys who are interested in playing tennis are encouraged to attend this meeting and if you are unable to contact Coach Ingerbrigsten
