What a night for volleyball fans across the city as all four of our schools came together to battle it out on the court! (See Photos Here)
First up, Lanphier High School took on Sacred Heart-Griffin. The Lions played with heart, but ultimately fell to the Cyclones. Both teams displayed top-notch sportsmanship, reminding us all that in sports, how we play matters just as much as the final score.
In the second match, Springfield Southeast High School faced off against Springfield High School, and the energy was electric! With thrilling rallies and powerful spikes, the crowd stayed on their feet. The Springfield High student section, decked out in neon and construction gear, was packed with JV players and fans cheering their team on. It’s proof that school spirit can truly bring a game to life and elevate the atmosphere.
We need all of our schools to show up tomorrow and Thursday to support their squads! Your energy on the sidelines makes a difference!
Both Southeast and Springfield High brought their A-game with strong serves and solid defensive digs, making for some exciting volleys. In the end, Springfield High took the win in a hard-fought game against the Spartans. We hope to see everyone tomorrow night—let’s make this a tournament to remember!
