Good morning, Springfield High! Today is May 22, 2024
Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111
Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!
Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.
If you park on or near SHS property - LOCK YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave your doors unlocked or windows down no matter what! Be safe, be smart and be aware!
Students - this is a reminder that dress code applies to all students this week. Pajama pants and slippers are not allowed, even during final exams. Thank you for following dress code!
Boys basketball will be hosting an open gym for perspective student athletes on Saturday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm in the Main Gym. This is open to all interested parties 9-12th grades. All players are to arrive 15 minutes prior to start time. Any questions feel free to contact Coach Warfield.
The softball team won their regional semi final game over Taylorville last night 5 to 3. Mia Volpert started the offense with a solo home run in the first inning. Kendall Knauer had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s, and had a clutch put out at 2nd base in the top of the 7th inning. Emma Marcum also contributed with a hit. Congratulations to Mia Volpert on surpassing 600 strikeouts as a pitcher in the circle. The girls will play for their 4th consecutive Regional Championship and look to win their 3rd in a row on Friday at 4PM at Rochester High School. Come out and support!
And now the Pledge of Allegiance!
