Good morning, Springfield High!  Today is May 21, 2024

Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111

Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

If you park on or near SHS property - LOCK YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave your doors unlocked or windows down no matter what! Be safe, be smart and be aware!

Students - this is a reminder that dress code applies to all students this week. Pajama pants and slippers are not allowed, even during final exams. Thank you for following dress code!

All PE lockers need to be emptied by the end of the today.

The baseball team ran into another tough foe last night in Dunlap, as they lost 13 to 1 in 5 innings. Bright spots included scoreless innings pitched by Alex Heyen in his varsity debut on the mound, as well as another scoreless one delivered by Tyler Elliott. On the offensive side, Seth Impson added a double to go with a hit apiece from Enrico Veach and Brody Scheffler. Caleb Gillespie contributed an outstanding diving catch in left, as well as a great at bat that he worked into a walk. Isaac Alt also added to his excellent on base percentage by getting hit by a pitch to move him among the team leaders at 500 in that category. Next up is regional play that starts tomorrow at 7 pm at Glenwood’s South Park against Mt. Zion.

The Springfield High School Boys Tennis Team competed in its final meet of the regular season against Glenwood yesterday, winning 12-11.
