Good morning, Springfield High!  Today is May 20, 2024

Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111

Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

If you park on or near SHS property - LOCK YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave your doors unlocked or windows down no matter what! Be safe, be smart and be aware!

Students - this is a reminder that dress code applies to all students next week. Pajama pants and slippers are not allowed, even during final exams. Thank you for following dress code!

The baseball team competed hard, showed improvement, and played well overall despite losing all 3 games they played over the weekend. They lost to Limestone 6 to 2 and 2 to 1 in 9 innings on Friday night, and then battled with back-to-back 4A State Champ Edwardsville on Saturday before falling 12 to 8 after scoring every inning after they scored. A.J. Ozier and Enrico Veach combined to throw an outstanding game against Limestone on Friday, allowing no earned runs over the 9 inning game. Brody Scheffler paced the offense for the weekend with 4 hits including a double from the lead-off spot. Carter Kruse also contributed 2 hits and 3 stolen bases on Saturday. Next up is the final regular season contest today against Dunlap at Robin Roberts Stadium at 4:30. Many Congrats to the 4 Seniors named to the All-Conference team yesterday. Seth Impson made the 1st team, Veach the 2nd team, and both Ethan Rutter and Sam Hartl were voted as Honorable Mention selections. Way to go, guys!

Congratulations to the Springfield High School Boys Tennis Team on placing second at this weekend's Sectionals! The team was led by Noah Williams finishing second at singles and James Oh/Krish Khurana claiming fourth place at doubles.  Shashi Bangarulingam and the doubles team of Dawson Strauch/Matthew Sommer also contributed to the team's success.  And a special congratulations to Noah Williams, James Oh and Krish Khurana on qualifying for State!
