Good morning, Springfield High! Today is April 26, 2024
Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111
Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

The baseball team lost two tough games by identical 3 to 1 scores last night, dropping game one to Mt. Pulaski and then game two to SHG. Outstanding pitching performances were turned in by the four Senator hurlers used. Sam Hartl, Enrico Veach, Brody Scheffler, and Ethan Rutter all pitched well enough to win, but the offense struggled against similar excellent pitching by both opponents. Veach had two hits for the day, including a double. Next up for the Senators is an unlikely doubleheader today due to the weather against Washington, but they will more likely play next on Monday at 6:00 pm at ISU against U-High.
Boys basketball will be hosting open gyms for prospective student athletes in the month of May. May 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Main Gym. And now the Pledge of Allegiance!
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
