Good morning, Springfield High!  Today is April 17, 2024

Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111

Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

Senators show perseverance by setting goals for themselves and working hard to achieve them even when things get tough. Set a goal for something you want to accomplish and then break it down into several short-term goals.  By breaking a large goal down into small steps, you will be more likely to persevere to achieve your goals. The best day to start is today!

The baseball team won a 4 inning contest over Eisenhower by an 18- nothing score. Jeffrey Sturm was the star of the show pitching a no-hitter while striking out 8. He had a strong supporting cast in Caleb Gillespie, Jude Romanotto, and Enrico Veach who had 3 hits apiece, including a double, homer, and 3 RBI’s from Veach. Sam Hartl added two doubles to go along with 2 hits and 3 RBI’s from Ethan Rutter. Senior Isaac Alt also hit a double in his first start this season. Next up is a CS8 contest today at 4:30 against Washington Street rivals SHG at 4:30 at Robin Roberts Stadium.

The Senator softball team picked up a 4 inning conference win last night over Decatur Eisenhower. Megan Bullock pitched a complete game, no hitter striking out 6 batters. Bullock also had 3 hits to pace the offense. Mia Volpert, Belle Pagliara, Rachel Becker and Emma Marcum also had multiple hits to lead the Senators. Good job girls!
