Good morning, Springfield High! Today is April 15, 2024
Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111
Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

The Senator softball team picked up a non conference win over the week over 4A Addison Trail. The Senators were led offensively by Megan Bullock with 2 hits and an RBI. Mia Volpert, Kendall Knauer, Emma Marcum and Rachel Becker also had hits. Volpert went 7 innings in the circle, giving up just 2 runs and striking out 13. The girls move to 9 and 3 on the year.
The BAS character focus for April is Perseverance. Senators show perseverance when they keep going, even when things get challenging. Most people who have succeeded in life have failed at least once on their journey. If you feel like quitting, remember what Thomas Edison said about his work on the light bulb, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” If he had quit after his first failure, think of how different life would be. There's 6 weeks until finals, keep working hard Senators!

Senators show perseverance by setting goals for themselves and working hard to achieve them even when things get tough. Set a goal for something you want to accomplish and then break it down into several short-term goals. By breaking a large goal down into small steps, you will be more likely to persevere to achieve your goals. The best day to start is today!
Would you like to join a creative writing club? Come to Mr. Chamberlain's classroom, room 364, after school tomorrow from 3:30-4:30 pm. All are welcome!
And now the Pledge of Allegiance!
