Good morning, Springfield High! Today is April 11, 2024
Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111
Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

The BAS character focus for April is Perseverance. Senators show perseverance when they keep going, even when things get challenging. Most people who have succeeded in life have failed at least once on their journey. If you feel like quitting, remember what Thomas Edison said about his work on the light bulb, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” If he had quit after his first failure, think of how different life would be. There's 6 weeks until finals, keep working hard Senators!
The baseball team stayed undefeated in conference play with an 11 to 1 win over Lincoln Tuesday afternoon. Sam Hartl was the player of the game in going 4 for 4 at the plate with a triple and 6 runs batted in. Rico Veach added two doubles and scored 3 runs from the lead-off spot to get the offense going. Seth Impson pitched a solid 4 innings to get the win, striking out 4 and walking only 1 while allowing no runs. Next up for the Solons is another CS8 contest today against Jacksonville at their place at 4:30
The Senator softball team moved to 8-2 Wednesday after a 1-0 win over Lincoln. Pitcher Mia Volpert struck out 14 batters and the solid defense proved to be the difference. Volpert and Bella Pagliara each had a hit while Kendall Knauer had the game winning RBI. The girls take on SHG at SHG’s field today at 4:30pm.
