Good morning, Springfield High!  Today is March 21, 2024

Attendance Office Phone Number - 525-3111

Students, If you're not feeling well during school hours, please visit the nurse's office instead of texting your parent directly to go home. Our nurse will then assess your condition and contact your parent for you. Reminder that phones are not allowed during class time. Not following this procedure creates a disruption for many offices as well as adults in the building. Thanks for following the procedure that is in place and helping to keep the school running smoothly!

Students who ride the CACC morning bus.  The buses will be leaving the school at 8:10 am every morning.  Don’t be late getting on your bus.

The baseball team had a rough one last night in taking their first loss of the season against the Titans of Glenwood by the score of 14 to 2. Bright spots included hits by Jude Romanotto and Enrico Veach, as well as a scoreless inning and two thirds pitched by Brody Scheffler. Next up for the Solons is a single game against Champaign Central on Saturday at 1:00 in Champaign.

The softball team picked up a non conference win last night over St Teresa 4 to 1. Mia Volpert notched the pitching win going the distance, striking out 16 batters and allowing just 4 hits. Volpert led the bottom of the first off with a solo home run. Megan Bullock contributed 3 hits and Kendall Knauer, Emma Scheffler, Emma Marcum, Erin Stoops and Rachel Becker all had hits in the win. Good job ladies!

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
