Tennis player Arthur Ashe ignited cutting-edge trails and his influence goes well beyond the sport of tennis. Despite of going through racial segregation and discrimination his entire life, Ashe managed to become the first African American man to win the US Open, Wimbledon, and Australian Open. Ashe used his position to have a conversation against South Africa's apartheid regime and promote health and education programs, he was a formidable off-court defender of social justice and civil rights.

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
