The groundbreaking American punk rock group "Bad Brains" was founded in the late 1970s and is well-known for integrating hardcore punk with elements of funk and reggae. The band was primarily African American and was established in Washington, D.C., making them significant figures in the predominantly white punk scene. Their inventive presence unveiled the convergence of black history and alternative music culture, challenging racial prejudices and expanding to punk rock's multiculturalism. Despite being confronted by  persecution and adversity. Bad Brains' advocacy and musical influence have created an everlasting legacy, influencing future generations of artists to foster diversity within the punk scene.

Model UN will meet on Friday in Mrs. Emery's room until 4:30.

There will be no 21st Century tonight.

There will be a softball open gym at 6PM tonight in the old gym.

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
