This week, BAS wants to emphasize that Senators show Responsibility for their academic success. You can do this by using a planner to write down assignments, tests and important dates. Responsible students also pay attention and participate in class.  And don’t forget to set aside time in your daily routine for homework and studying. You and only you are responsible for your grades so Be a Senator and do your best this semester!

Extra Extra, Read All About It!!! Check out the SHS newspaper (at https://shsnewspapersenators.com/) to read all about City Tournament: The Schefflers’ Legacy edition! Read about how basketball and City Tourney run deep in the Scheffler family! Let’s get to know our fellow Senators!

The Lady Senator basketball team won the City title on Saturday night by beating SHG by 7 to extend their winning streak to 8 games. SHS had a balanced scoring attack led by Emma Schefffler with 10 points and a team effort on the defensive end to get the win. Next up for SHS is the conference title game tonight at top-ranked Lincoln.

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
