After School Tutoring is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week in room 160 from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

Anyone interested in being in the spring musical please come to the student/parent meeting on TONIGHT at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium. You will have a chance to meet the staff. Musical synopsis and character descriptions will be available as well as song and reading cuts for auditions. Dates will be given for auditions, call-backs, cast meeting, read-through, and first rehearsal. There will be time for Q & A.

The Mayors Youth Council is having a hygiene drive.  Supplies can be given to Josephine Oke or Caitlyn Turner. Supplies needed are deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrushes, brushes/combs, lotion, conditioner/shampoo, body wash, nail clippers, feminine products, floss, bandaids/bandages, hair ties, chapstick, tissue, disinfecting wipes, baby wipes, diapers, baby bottles, and blankets. All donations will go to Fifth Street Renaissance. 

Springfield High school will assemble a team to participate in Black History Month district history bowl competition. If you are interested in competing with SHS with Black History trivia, please email Mr. Kramer at bkramer@sps186.org

Interested in joining the boys tennis team for the 2023-24 season?  Please plan to attend an introductory team meeting tomorrow at 3:30pm in the Auditorium. If you are unable to attend, please contact Coach Ingebrigtsen.

CACC will have an Open House on January 25th from 5-7.  This is a great opportunity to tour the labs, meet the teachers, talk with current students, and see if CACC is where you want to be for your Junior and Senior year.

Hey Senators! In 2024, BAS Club will continue to give you tips on how to Be A Senator. In January, we are focusing on the importance of Responsibility. Senators show responsible behavior and work ethic in the classroom everyday.   Make it a goal this week to follow all classroom rules, complete all assignments in a timely manner and don’t forget to show up on time to every class, every day. Be Responsible, Be A Senator. 

Feminsit club will meet after school tomorrow in Mrs. Eaton’s room 366.

Congratulations on the varsity Scholastic Bowl team on their sweep of the Maomb Rotary tournament on Saturday. Shout out to Ethan Baima for his third place on the tournament team. Anshul Nagrecha rounded out the top 10 with a great performance. 

There will be a GSA meeting Friday after school in room 366, Mrs. Eaton.
