Students: We have too many tardies! Please know we expect you to be on time for class!  Tardy sweeps have begun, which mean if you are in the hallways without a pass, instead of being in class, you will meet with an administrator and receive consequences. 

Final Exam Exemption forms are available in the guidance office. If you meet all criteria through December 15th, you may be able to exempt two or three of your exams, depending on your grade, your quarter grades, and your attendance. Pick up the correct grade level form before or after school, or during passing period. See an administrator with any questions.

Thursday, December 14th is the last day of tutoring and tutoring will resume third quarter.

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

If you want to purchase single game, season, or year long passes to Springfield High School events, keep your eyes open for Go Fan Ticketing posters in the Commons, Cafeteria and Annex.  You can scan the QR Code, or go to GoFan.com to purchase you SHS tickets today.

If you park on or near SHS property - LOCK YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave your doors unlocked or windows down no matter what! Be safe, be smart and be aware!

City T-Shirts orders will be coming next week. Orders will be due prior to Winter Break this year, so be prepared to turn in the form and money before December 20th. Order forms and designs will be out hopefully early next week. 

21st Century students - the last day of 21st Century this semester is Thursday, December 14th. Please make arrangements as you will need to leave the building on Friday the 15th, and that 21st Century is NOT available during final exams.

Interested in joining the boys tennis team for the 2023-24 season?  Please plan to attend an introductory team meeting on Wednesday, December 13th at 2:30 pm in the Auditorium. If you are unable to attend, please contact Coach Ingebrigtsen.

The SHS yearbook program will be doing a raffle for a free yearbook! Tickets can be purchased during lunch Tuesday-Friday this week. We will also be selling raffle tickets at the girls basketball game on Tuesday night. You can still enter if you already purchased a yearbook - we will refund you the purchase price if you win. Yearbooks are valued at $80, so don't miss your chance to win!  Speaking of yearbooks, tis the season to buy a yearbook.  Prices increase in the new year, so buy today. The Mayors Youth Council is having a hygiene drive from now until January.  Supplies can be given to Josephine Oke or Caitlyn Turner. Supplies needed are deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrushes, brushes/combs, lotion, conditioner/shampoo, body wash, nail clippers, feminine products, floss, bandaids/bandages, hair ties, chapstick, tissue, disinfecting wipes, baby wipes, diapers, baby bottles, and blankets. All donations will go to Fifth Street Renaissance.  Use the boxes outside of main office for all donations.
