Students: We have too many tardies! Please know we expect you to be on time for class!  Tardy sweeps have begun, which mean if you are in the hallways without a pass, instead of being in class, you will meet with an administrator and receive consequences. 

Final Exam Exemption forms are available in the guidance office. If you meet all criteria through December 15th, you may be able to exempt two or three of your exams, depending on your grade, your quarter grades, and your attendance. Pick up the correct grade level form before or after school, or during passing period. See an administrator with any questions.

After School Tutoring is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week in room 160 from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm.

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

If you want to purchase single game, season, or year long passes to Springfield High School events, keep your eyes open for Go Fan Ticketing posters in the Commons, Cafeteria and Annex.  You can scan the QR Code, or go to GoFan.com to purchase you SHS tickets today.

If you park on or near SHS property - LOCK YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave your doors unlocked or windows down no matter what! Be safe, be smart and be aware!

Any student who is interested in enrolling in a possible second-semester Junior ROTC class should stop by guidance to sign up to get more information. Students must sign up by Friday, December 8th at 3:30pm.

In Junior ROTC, the students (cadets) will receive instruction on an introduction to Junior ROTC and the Army in the fields of Leadership; First Aid and Health; Map Reading; Techniques of Communications; Overview of American Citizenship through American History; Your American Citizenship and Safety. There is a physical component to the class. 

Hey SHS students! The Chess club will be meeting after school from 3:17 to 4:30 Friday, December 8th in Mr. Hull’s Room (Room 216)  If you have any questions contact Mr. Hull or Shashi Bangarulingam.

Attention students: are you interested in Habitat for Humanity? There will be a Habitat for Humanity meeting Wednesday, Dec. 6th, in room 330 after school. See Nishi Korrapati if you have any questions.

GSA is hosting a cookie decorating event on Friday after school in Mrs. Eaton’s room 366. Come show off your creativity and bring a friend.

Attention performers and poetry lovers, there will be an informational meeting for Poetry Out Loud Thursday after school in Mrs. Eaton’s room 366. If you are unable to attend stop by for info.

Pizza Pizza Pizza Thursday Thursday Thursday. Be A Senator Club will be selling Papa John’s pizza this Thursday for $2 a slice in the commons during both lunch shifts. You can also redeem 5 Senator dollars for one slice.
