After School Tutoring is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week in room 160 from 3:30 pm- 4:30 pm.

Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.

Students, please remember that the football games at Memorial Stadium and Spartan Field are school functions and all behavior guidelines will be enforced at all times during these games. Any inappropriate behavior displayed at these games will result in consequences that will be enforced by the administration of SHS. This includes behavior inside the stadium, as well as adjacent to the facility.

GSA will meet after school today in room 366, Mrs. Eaton.   All are welcome, help us plan our Halloween event.

The girls volleyball team won a non conference match against Mt Pulaski 25-20 21-25 25-18. The Senators were lead by Eva Hamann with 8 kills,15 digs,9 assists & 4 aces. Ruth Becker had 11 digs, Madison Clark 11 assists, Rachel Becker 5 kills,3 blocks & Lila Ambrose with 5 blocks. Great effort by everyone. Senior night is next Tuesday against Rochester. We hope to have all the student body come and support the team.

The girls swimming and diving team competed in a triangular meet with Champaign centennial and Bloomington high school. Top finishers for the senators were Lila Martin 1st in the 200 IM, Mary O’Brien 1st in the 100 Freestyle and the 100 breaststroke, abby myers 1st in the 100 butterfly.   Congratulations girls. 

The soccer team improved to 20-2 with a 5-1 victory over Quincy. Vince Pratt Drew Dejaynes, Mason Simmons and Evan Carrell scored for the Senators. Gavin Oyler, Mason Simmons, Ty Dyson and Eamon Mahoney had the assists. Congrats on an outstanding regular season.  The sophomore team battled to a 0-0 tie with Quincy. Ben Cliburn recorded the shutout.
