After School Tutoring is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week in room 160 from 3:30 pm- 4:30 pm.
Lunchtime tutoring is available for any student on either lunch shift in room 124.
Students, please remember that the football games at Memorial Stadium and Spartan Field are school functions and all behavior guidelines will be enforced at all times during these games. Any inappropriate behavior displayed at these games will result in consequences that will be enforced by the administration of SHS. This includes behavior inside the stadium, as well as adjacent to the facility.

The cross country team competed at the Metamora Invite on Saturday. The girls were led by Kayden Arjsamat in the freshman/sophomore race and Mia Volpert in the Varsity race. The boys were led by Colin Nolte in the freshman/sophomore race and Kishan Ugrappa in the Varsity race. Both teams placed 11th out of 29 teams. The team next competes in the Central state right meet on Saturday at Jacksonville!
There will be a feminist club meeting today after school in Mrs. Taft’s room 356
GSA will meet after school in room 366 Mrs. Eaton on Friday. All are welcome, help us plan our Halloween event.
The girls swim team finished second in a triangular meet with SHG and Jacksonville on Saturday. Top finishers for the Senators were Lila Martin 2nd in the 200 IM, Abby Myers 1st in the 200 free and the 100 butterfly, Mary O’Brien 2nd in the 100 breaststroke and Elizabeth sievers 2nd in the 100 backstroke. Way to go girls.
The Springfield High School Girls Tennis Team placed fourth at the CS-8 Conference Tournament this past weekend. At singles, Myla Shannon finished in fifth place while Madisyn Williams placed seventh. In doubles, the team of Nishi Korrapati/Ester Rossi finished in fifth place. The doubles team of Maria Anselment/Kara Frazier also competed on behalf of the team. Congratulations on a strong showing in the CS-8 Conference!
The boys golf team members competed in the state series this past weekend. Both James Oh and Julian Valenti tied for 35th in the 112 player field. Congrats to both golfers on a great season!
There will not be robotics today after school.
The soccer team defeated SHG 5-0 last night. Vince Pratt, Alex Hockenyos, Jeffrey Strum and Joe Brudnak scored for the Senators. Ian Griffin and Evan Carrell delivered an assist. Joe Brudnak recorded the shutout.
