The baseball team concluded its season with a 4 to nothing loss on Saturday to the Rockets of Rochester in the Regional Championship game. Highlights included doubles by Enrico Veach and Griffin Burk. The team finished with a record of 25 wins and 10 losses, marking their 3rd straight season with 25 or more wins. The guys would like to wish the Lady Senator Softball Team the best of luck in Sectional play, and a BIG CONGRATS on their Regional Title. Go get 'em, girls!

Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl team and their 97th placement at nationals in Atlanta GA, this past weekend.  Great competition and you all showed your Solon spirit.

The Senator softball team went into Rochester on Friday evening and brought home their second consecutive regional championship by beating the host school Rochester 2 to 0. After a pitchers duel through 5 and two thirds innings, Mia Volpert reached base on a no out walk. Kendall Knauer and Liah ONeill were able to get Volpert to 3rd base before Emma Scheffler came up clutch with a 2 out double, knocking in Volpert. The Sens would tack on another run to take the win. Volpert finished with 10 strikeouts in the circle while only allowing 2 hits. Congrats ladies! The 25 and 6 Senators will play tonight in the Glenwood sectional at 4:30 vs. the 1 seed and 30 and 5 Mt Zion Braves. Bring $7 and Come out to Glenwood High School and cheer on the girls!!

Congratulations to Senior Finn Loken who competed at the IHSA boys state track and field meet. Finn finished in 23rd place in the 1600 meter run to finish a great season

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!
