The baseball team got back on track after having their 7 game winning streak snapped last week with a 7 to nothing shutout over Dunlap on Saturday. Griffin Burk and Ryne Crum combined for a 3-hit shutout on the mound. Enrico Veach and Seth Impson had 2 hits apiece to pace the offense, with Veach contributing a home run and 2 RBI's. Jude Romanotto added a 2 run single in the 5th to put the game out of reach. Next up is a key CS8 series with Rochester beginning tomorrow at 4:30 at their place.

The PS5 raffle ticket sales have been extended. Get your tickets from any football player or Coach Hebb or Kramer. Winners will be drawn on May 19.

If you are interested in directing the fall play next school year, applications are available in Mrs, Eaton’s room 366 this week.

The Springfield High School Boys Tennis Team finished third at this past weekend’s Pitchford Invitational.  With Krish Khurana and James Oh at singles and the doubles teams of David Lu/Noah Williams and Bryce Pound/Will Wang, the team claimed victories over Peoria Richwoods, Morton and Dunlap.  Congratulations on a great team performance!

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
