Attention Springfield High School  students including singers, dancers, musicians, football players, class clowns and those who like to be center of attention- the SHS IN Session and Scarlet Harmony showchoir will be holding auditions for the 2023/24 season! Auditions will be open to any and all incoming freshmen through seniors at Springfield High School. Auditions will be held on May 23rd (vocal audition and review choreography) and May 24th (dance audition). These award-winning groups have spots to fill for their competition season, and they would love to showcase our Senators’ talent! The auditions will be easy and fun. The baseball team received a much needed slice of humble pie in their 15 to nothing, no-hit loss to Sangamo Conference Champ Williamsville in a 4 inning contest at their place. The only Solon highlight of the night was that many lessons are left to be taught and learned to right the ship of a very fun and successful season so far, as the Senators are still in 2nd in the CS8 standings with a 12 and 2 conference mark to go with 18 wins against 5 losses for the season. Next up on the journey is a 10 am contest Saturday at Dunlap.

The soccer team battled to a 2-2 tie vs Washington last night. Bridget Lyon scored 2 goals for the Senators.  The JV soccer team defeated Washington 1-0 on a goal by Valentina Osgood. Addesynne Sawyer recorded the shut-out.
