Students and families: Please know we treat everyone with respect and kindness, and keep this school safe. After school tutoring will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 160.

Attention Juniors: The Board of Education invites interested current high school juniors to apply to become the 2023-2024 Student School Board Member. One junior will be chosen to serve during their senior year. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, and can be found on our school’s homepage. Please see Mrs. Gordy if you are interested in applying. 

Tryouts for the 2023-2024 SHS Cheerleading squads are approaching. Tryout packets can be picked up from the main office, from Coach Dorr in 169, or from Coach Moscardelli in room 156.  Any questions please see Coach Dorr. 

The senior class is selling new class apparel with proceeds going to Mr. Reid. Stop by main office, Mrs. Eaton’s room or ask your English teacher for a form.

Attention Junior and Senior senators, you are invited to a Masquerade Ball hosted by the Class of 2024 on Saturday May 6th at the Wyndham City Center form 7-9:30. Tickets will be sold beginning next Monday April 24th during both lunch shifts. Price is $20 individual $35 couples before the event and $25 at the door. Senior watch for court nominations on your class Canvas Page. All submissions are due before Friday, April 28th.

If juniors and seniors are bringing a guest to prom or after prom, permission forms are available in the Guidance Office and due on Wednesday, May 4th by 3:30 p.m. Forms must be filled out entirely and turned in on time for guests to be considered. Furthermore, all guests must have a photo ID with them to be admitted to either event.

Scarlet Line Dance Team tryouts are coming up soon on May 1-5, 2023. Interested students should attend the first clinic on May 1 at 4pm in the gym. You can pick up a tryout packet in the main office or more information can be found on the Scarlet Line’s facebook page. Email Coach Shannon Bellini with any questions at scarlet.line@yahoo.com

The Chess club will be meeting after school from 3:17 to 4:15 in Mr. Hull’s Room today for the election of next year's Chess Club Officials! After voting is concluded normal games will continue, and everyone is welcome to come regardless of skill level!

In case you haven’t done so already, please check out the Senator Shout out board right outside of the cafeteria. Staff members selected students who stood out to them in a positive way during 3rd quarter. Congrats to the 35 students who received this honor! 

The ultimate frisbee team will meet Fridays after school in room 521 from 3:30 to 5:00 to play some ultimate frisbee. Anyone who wants to play, or learn to play, is welcome to join. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
