Good morning, Springfield High! Today is March 27, 2023

Students - We need each of you to listen to this important announcement.  We want our school to be safe.  We want our school to be a place that is fight free and a place where any form of bullying is not allowed.  We want you to feel safe on your social media and in person at school.  We need you to be respectful. Ask for help from an adult if you need help, and NEVER choose physical violence as a way to solve your problems. If you see something that doesn’t sound or seem right - tell someone right away. The students and adults that attend and work in this school deserve to be safe at all times.  Fighting will not be tolerated and we will utilize consequences if you make the choice to bully students in person or on-line or if you choose to fight at school. Help make District 186 a place where everyone is proud to work and learn.

After school tutoring will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 160.

Seniors - tell your family and friends that senior ads for the yearbook are now on sale at a reduced price. Visit yearbookforever.com to create your ad. Senior ads will only be sold until April 15th.

English Learners are spreading the word - if you are interested in ordering a new design ELL T-shirt or hoodie, you will find forms in the Main Office or in the Classroom 360.  Forms with money (cash or check) should be returned by March 31.

The baseball team won its only 2 games it could play over break due to the weather, beating Jacksonville by the scores of 12 to 2 and 3 to 2 in their CS8 openers last Wednesday. The offense was led by 3 RBI's from Impson and Veach who also had 2 hits apiece for the day. Next up is Washington Street rival SHG tomorrow at 4:30 down the road at their place.
