After school tutoring will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 160.

The Junior Class is excited to invite everyone at SHS to the Sadie Hawkin's Dance which will be held February 18th from 8-10 pm in the Commons here at SHS. Tickets are $10 each.  Guests from outside SHS will be allowed and guest forms will be available in the Guidance Office. Form must be filled out and returned to guidance by the end of today.

Juniors - Mrs. Lauer and Mr. Kramer will be taking a group of juniors to Illinois College to attend their regional college fair on March 10th. Physical copies of the permission slip are on the counter of the Guidance Office. More info including colleges attending can be found on the Class Canvas page.

Seniors - many scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching, including two big opportunities the Community Foundation and the Lincoln Land Foundation, both groups of scholarships many SHS students have won. This week's CFLL highlighted scholarships are for SHS athletes, a golfer, and someone who has lots of community service!

Pizza Pizza Pizza, Thursday Thursday, Thursday. Be A Senator will be selling Papa John’s pizza this today for $2/slice in the Commons on both lunch shifts. We will be taking Senator Cash this time for 5 Senator Dollars per slice.

Hey Seniors! It's time to write your senior quote for the yearbook. See the announcement on your class Canvas page for more information and to access the form. All quotes must be submitted by Friday, February 24th. 

The Chess club will be meeting after school from 3:17 to 4:15 in Mr. Hull’s Room (Room 216)  tomorrow to play and teach Chess! Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level! We hope to see you there!

Crochet Club meets today after school in room 356 - all skill levels welcome!

Robotics will have a meeting tomorrow in room 110 from 3:30 to 4:30.

As many of you may know, the club, minority action, is in charge of the black history month presentation. However this year, we’re going live and presenting an interactive and entertaining assembly to allow you to learn a little more about black culture in the entertainment industry. We, the MVA, invite you to make an imprint on our assembly. On Friday during your lunch hour, Please come down to the double story art room, room 233,  to participate in a whole school collaborative piece and make a change.
