Congratulations to the Southeast Wrestling Team! After competing in the Regional Tournament, Braden McBride finished 3rd, Chris Hull earned 2nd place, & Robert Hull was the Regional Champion. Good luck to these wrestlers as they move on to compete in the Sectional Wrestling Tournament this weekend in Highland!

Attention all Spartans---Progress reports come out this week. Remember this is Progress reports!  You still have 4 more weeks to change those grades!  If you need help or support we offer tutoring after school! Please reach out to your teachers if you need help! 

Are you interested in learning more about the Spanish language and the culture behind it? Come join the Spanish club. First meeting is February 8th from 3:00-4:45 in Mrs. Friday’s room, room 112. All are welcome, come embrace hispanic culture through film music, food and language! 

From the college room…

Wednesday during lunch - Lincoln Land will be in the library to answer questions about Nursing programs. If you are interested in becoming a Nurse or not sure which health profession is the one for you, stop by the library on Wednesday to chat with Lincoln Land about Nursing degrees.

On Thursday, Southern Illinois University will be in the Commons to talk about what it takes to become a Saluki. Stop by the Commons on Thursday to chat with Josh about educational opportunities at SIU in Carbondale.
