Good Morning Southeast students and staff, Its Thriving Thursday, January 12th, 2023! Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

Thriving Thursday:
Today's theme is to solve your problems with love! With MLK Day on the 17th, I thought it appropriate for us to examine one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s most powerful teachings. Dr. King once said, “Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” So today to thrive, i challenge you to start small. Share some love with someone who may need it, with the goal of building the capacity to shed compassion and love onto something that otherwise could be hate.
Yesterday’s attendance was 86..36%. Remember if we can average 90% of this week, we can have our Pajama day!!! Students, you will know attendance results by Thursday afternoon!
The last opportunity to submit your spartan success tickets will be Friday. We will stop accepting entries at the end of the fourth hour that day. Be sure you get those tickets in the drawing buckets in the library!
Open house at CACC will be on January 19th from 5-7 pm. If you would like to meet the instructors and see their facilities, please plan to attend.
Attention students, room 113 is not a hallway. Do not pass through during class or passing periods.
Those students who anticipate graduating in 2024 need to get their orange credit recovery sheet returned to Mrs. Metz as soon as possible. Credit recovery begins tomorrow from 3:30-4:30 in either room 175H or Room 124. It is held every Tuesday and Thursday. Your orange sheet must be returned before you are eligible to attend.
Thursday, January 12th - Susana from ISAC will be here during both lunch shifts in the Library to assist with FAFSA, college applications, and scholarships. Stop by the Library Thursday during your lunch shift with any questions about college.
