Thursday January 5th, 2023

Good Morning Southeast students and staff, Its Thriving Thursday, January 5th, 2023!  Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

And now for a moment of silence to start our day…Thank you.

Yesterday’s attendance percentage was 86.6%

Thriving Thursday:

Thrive with compassion! Compassion can be defined as being moved to take action to relieve someone else's suffering through your empathy. Did you know that when you act with compassion, you stimulate the pleasure centers of your brain? Its also great for your immune system and heart health. Compassion can be challenging though, especially when we should show it to someone who may be a source of negativity in our lives. Good news though, when you show compassion to others, your personal resilience increases. You're better able to recover from difficult situations, and can maintain better control over your emotional reactions to bad stimuli.

Show some compassion, be good human, and feel better.

For those students who receive the free bus tickets and did not pick them up in November.  If you still are wanting bus tickets please let Mrs. Coleman know TODAY!!  As new bus tickets will be issued on Friday and if you did not pick up your tickets in November they will be returned and you will not be issued any on Friday.  You will need to fill out a new application should you want them again once they are returned.

Night Credit Recovery at Lawrence Adult will begin next Tuesday the 10th. This will be the first night of registration, and students can come as early as 3pm with a parent to complete the registration paperwork.
