Good Morning Southeast students and staff, Monday, December 5th, 2022! I am Allysse Lewis. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

If there are any juniors currently attending CACC this semester and are thinking about another program or not attending the career center next semester, please see Mrs. Metz in the Guidance Office as soon as possible.
If you are interested in doing GIRLS track conditioning, it’s today 3:30-5. Please come dressed and ready at 3:30! Meeting in the gym, on the girls locker room side. It will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday! If you have any questions please see Ms. Fairlee in Study Hall or email her at lfairlee@sps186.org.
Key Club will meet Tomorrow December 6th after school in Mrs. Wilkinson’s room. There will be a voluntary after-meeting activity until 4:45.
If you are graduating this school year and have not ordered your cap and gown you should do so ASAP, as the prices will increase after Dec 16th! Currently a cap and gown is $63.90, but will increase to $79.01 after December 16th, 2022. If you haven’t ordered a cap and gown you can do so by clicking on the Jostens link on the Southeast High School website! In order to participate and walk in the graduation, you must at least purchase a cap and gown to do so. If you have any questions see Ms. Lewis or a Guidance office secretary.
Attention All Boys
Volunteer track/or pre-season track has started. At 3:35 Be dressed and ready to go, pre-season track workouts will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Indoors. You will have until January 16th to join.
The National Honor Society is doing 2022 Winter Food Drive this week
A TIME FOR GIVE -- Bring non-perishable goods to the main lobby or to room 119. Let's help someone in need. We also accept checks made out to SSHS National Honor Society. All donations will go to the Illinois Food Pantry and/or Shelters.
Softball Interest/Informational Meeting will be held this week on Wednesday, Dec. 7th in the commons at 315-345. If you have any questions or can’t make this meeting email Ms. Porter at rporter@sps186.org. or visit her office in the library room 175A
The following dates have been set for individual and team winter sports pictures:
Wednesday, December 7th - cheerleading - 5:00 in the auditorium
Wednesday, December 14th - Poms - 3:00 in the auditorium
Friday, December 16th - wrestling - 3:30 - in the wrestling room
Club picture day will be this Wednesday, December 7th. Each club advisor will have passes for each club member in order to get out of class. The senior class picture will be taken on this date as well at 8:25 in the gym.
This week is our annual Holiday Spirit Week!

Friday - Pajama Day (Make sure they're appropriate and in dress code)
