Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it’s Friday November 18th, 2022  and I am Allysse Lewis. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

And now for a moment of silence to start our day…Thank you.

*Mrs. Currie is shouting out Mr. Leininger! Thanks for filling in for Mr. Z you're doing an amazing job! We appreciate ya in the Student Office.

*Mrs. Workman would like to shout out The whole kitchen crew….thanks for making such great food and having smiles on your face!

*Ms. Hinds would like to Shout out to the group of students who attended the Building Trades Fair at the BOS Center this Tuesday. Students were respectful, polite, and a pleasure to share the day with. From the bus to McDonalds, they were a great representation of Southeast! Good job Spartans!

*Mr. Volpert would like to Shout Out Mr. Emery for organizing the student trip to meet the Ambassador of Nepal this week at Illini Country Club. The students had a great time and we appreciate your hard work.

*Mrs. Beenenga would like to shout out Grace Yazell for consistently cleaning up the sink and paint area in the art room even though she never 

leaves a mess...Ms. Beenenga appreciates all the work you do!

*Coach Collins would like to Shout-Out to the Lady Spartan Basketball team as they begin the season tonight at the Alton Tip Off.  Good Luck Girls!

*Ms. Marley would like to Shout out Lexie Joyce for setting a goal and crushing it! 

*Mr. Gardner is Shouting-Out Mr. Walls for being AWESOME!!!!

*Mr. March would like to shout out Amari Greenfield- for academic excellence and respect in Literature class. And Mrs. Bloch and Mrs. Buecker for making strong connections with families.

*And last but not least, Ms. Dela Vega is shouting out Mrs. Buecker, for going the extra mile!

 

Do you want some candy? Do you want to help the community? We have a win-win opportunity for you! Key Club will be collecting items for the Spartan Pantry. You should have brought your items to the lobby before school. Today is the last day! 

For those students who receive free bus passes and have not picked them up, if you do not pick them up by tomorrow they will be returned and you will have to fill out another application, if you should want them again.  Please see Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

 

Dungeons and Dragons Club is having a Dungeon Master training session on Thursday December 1st in room 203 with Mr. Clinton. If DnD is an interest of yours and you want to expand your knowledge of the game, show up with a positive attitude and ready to learn. The meeting is from 3:30 to 4:30

 Class of 2023! Are you having troubles completing your Financial aid forms on the FAFSA website? Today, November 18th - Southeast is having a FAFSA completion during the school day. You will be invited to the Commons in 30 minute groups to start your FAFSA or ask any questions. Passes and a list will be sent out soon!

 Attention Seniors - now is the time to vote for your Senior Best Of! Signs are posted with a QR code  and the link to voting can also be found online on our school’s website. Senior quotes and baby pictures are also due. You can submit online to jlaub@sps186.org or drop off  to room 206.
