Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it’s Wednesday, November 16th, 2022  and I am Allysse Lewis. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

WORD OF THE DAY WEDNESDAY! DILIGENT-Hard-working! Diligent students receive better grades in school!

Tuesday’s attendance was Percentage: 84.64

Do you want some candy? Do you want to help the community? We have a win-win opportunity for you! Key Club will be collecting items for the Spartan Pantry. Bring your items to the lobby before school on Wednesday to exchange them for some candy.

All current 21st century students and those who wish to go to SIUE tomorrow, November 17th  you must join 21st century and pick up a permission form from Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

If there are any juniors currently attending CACC this semester and are thinking about another program or not attending the career center next semester, please see Mrs. Metz in the Guidance Office as soon as possible. 

 

For those students who receive free bus passes and have not picked them up, if you do not pick them up by Friday they will be returned and you will have to fill out another application, if you should want them again.  Please see Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

Today at Lunch - Lincoln Land Community College will be in the Commons

Tomorrow - Are you thinking about becoming a teacher? Stop by the Library Thursday - during your lunch shift. Bring your lunch and learn about Scholarships and other opportunities to help you become a teacher. 

Class of 2023! Are you having troubles completing your Financial aid forms on the FAFSA website? This Friday, November 18th - Southeast is having a FAFSA completion during the school day. You will be invited to the Commons in 30 minute groups to start your FAFSA or ask any questions. Passes and a list will be sent out soon!

If you are a Junior or Senior and are interested in becoming a teacher…please let Ms Jannazzo know. You can email tjannazz@sps186.org or send  a message through College and Career on Canvas.
