Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it's Shout Out Friday, September 30th, 2022. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and schoolwide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

Shout out to Ms. Thompson, our new and amazing librarian for the amazing job your doing and all the updates and info you send out to keep our staff informed! - Big Will Hopkins

Shout out to Jimmy Dyer, on Monday, you single handedly decided to keep the courtyard open by picking up tons of other people's trash, thank you for caring about and keeping our campus and this school we love nice!

Ms. Jones would like to shoutout Freshman, Connor Anderson for choosing kindness and being helpful. After Ms. Jones’ back surgery, he has asked her every day if she needs help. Today, she spilled her coffee and broke her glass everywhere. Connor sprang up to help and cleaned up a mess he didn’t make. Thank you Connor for being such an amazing person and awesome Spartan!

Shout Out Ms. Marley for setting up an amazing National Coffee day for the staff yesterday morning! 

Yesterday's attendance percentage was: 88.28 percent.

Remember students with perfect attendance between 9/15 and 10/5 will automatically be entered to win free homecoming tickets!!

Are you interested in helping the community?  Do you like to volunteer? Come to the Key Club meeting on Tuesday, October 4 in room 110!  We will meet in room 110 from 3:25-3:45.  There will be treats!  See you there!

Attention Spartan Readers: Book Club will meet in 105 after school on Mondays. Once again, book club is on Monday!

From the College room...

SENIORS - FAFSA night is October 4th 5:30 - 7:30 in the SE Library. Bring your parent and your chromebook to this event! and memorize your Social Security number. FAFSA is the only way to receive Federal grants to help pay for college or trade school. I look forward to seeing you and your parent on Tuesday, October 4th in the SE Library 5:30 - 7:30.

Attention all students and staff interested in joining a club, the first Asian Culture Club will be monday 10/3 after school in Ms. Au’s room, 224, see Ms. Au, Phong Dong, or Essence Nelson. 

Did you know Ms. Juneteenth is our own class of 2022 graduate Teairriona Harris! She will be hosting a fun night of dancing and bonding across our community on October 22 at the One In a Million Building on 700 S. Livingston Street. Come out enjoy bonding and learning to dance with Ms. Juneteenth herself. Who knows, maybe you’ll even learn what it takes to become the next Ms. Juneteenth!
