Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it's Thriving Thursday, September 29th, 2022. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and schoolwide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

And now for a moment of silence to start our day:

Thank you.

Yesterday's attendance percentage was: 88.28 percent.

Remember students with perfect attendance between 9/15 and 10/5 will automatically be entered to win free homecoming tickets!!

Thriving Thursday:

It's thriving Thursday and today's theme is know, and leverage your strengths. There is something special about each and every person in this building. Perhaps you're athletic, or artistic, maybe you’re great with communication, or relating to others. Maybe you have excellent penmanship, can bake or cook. Perhaps you don’t know your strength, thats okay too! I would however encourage you to learn about yourself.  Your strengths will take you great places in life if you know how to use them. A great tool to learn about your strengths is a multiple intelligence assessment. Literacynet has a great free MI assessment that takes 5-10 minutes to complete, just google multiple intelligence test and it should be the top result!

Anyway once you know your strengths begin thinking about how you can apply or leverage those strengths in different situations. I or instance have learned that i have  comfort in social situations, and communicate pretty well too, so i like to apply this ability to learning by asking lots of questions and offering my opinion in learning situations. This helps me learn, and its easy for me to do. Find your strengths and talk to a teacher, parent, heck come find me and lets chat about how you can apply those strengths to boost your performance in school, personal, or even professional life!
