Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it's Blue and Gold/ Shout out Friday, and I am (state your name), remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and schoolwide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

Shout out to Mr. Schudel, for designing and making sure every spartan can access a planner! 

Shout out to all the students that helped me clean the lunchroom tables when others did not, i want you to know i appreciate all 6 of you, thank you for helping me out, Mr sanders. 

Shout out to Daquan Wiley for self advocating with Mr. Durett! 

Yesterdays attendance percentage: 90.64.

1) Regular Attendance Fosters a classroom community between teachers and Students

2) Students Gain Background knowledge from discussions while participating in class

3) Students who attend school regularly tend to feel better about school

Night credit recovery starts at Lawrence on September 20.  Registration is Sept 15.  Classes will be held on Tues, Wed, and Thursday from 4-8.  Each class is $3.00.  Please see your academic assistant principal in the Guidance Office if you would like to enroll.  

Attention all Spartans, the theme for the student section at tonight’s football game is GOLD OUT!! But on your best gold head to toe, and show out while we cheer on spartan football. Students will begin assembling in their section at 6:30 PM, come on and gold out!

The cross country team still needs runners.  There are no try outs or cuts.  Please email Coach White (whitej9@sps186.org) or Coach French (jfrench2@sps186.org)  if you are interested.

If you are interested in joining the Capitols Esports program, please stop by the main office to scan the QR code posted and get started. Tryouts will happen starting next week, so do not delay. If you have any questions, contact coach Dalton McGhiey or speak to an esports team member."

The 2022 Spartan yearbook is here! Extra copies are available for $70 in room 206. Don't miss out on the memories!

If you attend CACC, tomorrow is the last day you can request a program switch.  Please see Mr. Ferriell in the CACC main office if you are wanting to make a switch.  

If you have not bought a parking tag to park in the students parking lot, you cannot park there.  If you would like to purchase a tag, please see Ms. Coleman in the main office.  The cost is $30.

Save the Date!! The Outlet's Annual Bridging the Gap BBQ is THIS Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 11-2pm at Jaycee Park. This year's event is sponsored by the Springfield Police Department, Humphrey's Market, Springfield Park District, and Senator Doris Turner.
