Parking tags may be purchased in the main office.
Students must have a permit tag to park on school property in the STUDENT PARKING LOT only and may not park in FACULTY NUMBERED or VISITOR spots at ANY TIME.
Parking tags must be purchased in person.

SENIORS may purchase a tag beginning Aug. 15 and 16
JUNIORS beginning on Aug. 17
SOPHOMORES beginning on Aug. 18
To purchase a parking tag you must have the following:
FEE: $30.00, (cash, check or money order)
License plate number,
Vehicle Registration & Valid Insurance Card.
Know the make, model, color and year of vehicle.
Vehicles that do not display the SSHS parking permit will be tagged the first time and towed from the lot the second time at the owner's expense.
Vehicles brought on to school property are subject to search. Those who purchase a parking tag for or from another individual or otherwise abuse this parking policy will have the privilege of parking in the student lot withdrawn indefinitely.
Under the Illinois School code, “to maintain order and security in the schools, school authorities may inspect and search places and areas such as lockers, desks, parking lots and other school property and equipment owned or controlled by the school, as well as personal effects left in those places and area by students, without notice to or the consent of the student, and without a search warrant.” 105ILCS5/10/22.6(e).
