December 10, 2022 - The Southeast PTO is excited to share photos from one of the teacher grants awarded in the fall. Choir teacher Angela Stoutenborough requested tickets to take her students to Springfield Theatre Centre's "Elf: The Musical" at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in December.
More than 50 students attended "Elf." Here's what some of them shared about the experience:
“I’ve never been to that theatre before. It was a nice experience,” said Shakaylah Plair.
“I really enjoyed it. It was my first musical," shared Oli Strassner.
“Thank you for giving us the opportunity to go. I know a lot of us don’t get the opportunity to see musical theatre," said Makhia Logan.
“It was a fun and joyful experience,” said Ash Wood.
