What is LLCC's HELPrS program?The Healthcare Entry-Level Professional Skills (HELPrS) program is an immersive, two-week summer program designed for high school juniors and seniors or recent graduates ages 16-20. We will meet Mondays-Thursdays, noon to 5 p.m. from June 9-June 19, 2025. You will explore health care professions both on and off campus, learn about college life and develop important professional skills needed in the healthcare workforce. Please see Mrs. Metz if you are interested in signing up for this. Juniors- If you are interested in attending the Illinois College to Career Exploration, please see Mrs. Metz for a permission slip. The event is Thursday, April 3 from 1-4. You will be dismissed after Lunch B if you have returned a permission slip. You must have your own transportation and register for the event. The registration can be found on the permission slips. Slips are due back to the Guidance Office on April 1. See Mrs. Metz if you have questions. From the College Room… TODAY, Illinois College will be in the Commons during both lunch shifts. Friday - University of Illinois at Springfield will be in the College Room at 10:35 and in the Commons during both lunch shifts.
