Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

The library is closed today, this includes check outs and for lunch. 

Would you like to travel next summer!! Please watch this video about an opportunity to travel to Italy, France and Spain next summer.

From the College Room…This is all when we come back from Spring Break!!

Welcome back! We hope you had a safe and relaxing Spring Break. We are glad you are here!  It’s time to turn our brains back to learning:)

Monday, a representative from the Department of Agriculture will be here today in the Commons during lunch. Stop by to learn about their many job offerings. The Dept of Agriculture hires for the Fair also.

Tuesday, Juniors and Seniors with returned permission slips will be participating in a Job Fair at the Crowne Plaza. Students riding the bus will meet in the lobby at 12:00 and return at 2:00. Students driving to the event will return the next school day. Please drive safely:)

Also Tuesday at lunch the Navy will be in the Commons. Stop by and see if you have what it takes to sail the seas with the Navy.

Wednesday, Alex from ISAC, Kim from LLCC and Jannazzo will be in the library to assist with all things college, trade school and scholarship. Seniors, Have you finished your FAFSA? Time is ticking. Remember - completing the FAFSA or the non-participation form is a graduation requirement.

Thursday, Illinois College will be in the Commons during both lunch shifts.

Friday - University of Illinois at Springfield will be in the College Room at 10:35 and in the Commons during both lunch shifts. Stop by and see Sarah from UIS at lunch or sign up/email tjannazz@sps186.org  for a pass to see her during 3rd hour in the College Room.

Awards/Celebrations

Coach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone,headphones, and dress code referrals starting Wednesday, October 23. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements! Stay referral free to win a gift card on Coach LT!
