Our freshman biology students are diving into real-world medical careers first! More Photos Here
Thanks to an amazing collab between our District 186 biology teachers & Memorial Health, students are getting a hands-on look at six different medical professions.
We stopped by Mr. Jason Potter's class at Springfield Southeast High School today, where students put on their Surgical Tech & Radiology Tech hats! They read X-rays, identified fractures, and worked together to problem-solve like real medical pros.
Why does this matter?
Because exposure = opportunity! When students see career pathways in action, they can picture themselves in these roles. Learning isn't just about textbooks—it's about experiencing, engaging, and leveling up for the future!
