From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. | Juniors', now through April 8th- ACT prep for Reading with Ms. Hiler will take place after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:35-4:35 in Room 214. This is the last week that JROTC will be collecting canned goods for their Service Learning Project. Every student who donates 5 or more canned goods will be entered into a raffle drawing to win a $75 Gift Card. Please see any JROTC Cadet for details. All of the Community Foundation scholarships and many of the Sorority and Fraternity scholarships are due Feb 28 or March 1st. Check your school email - search Scholarship or tjannazz and fill out as many as you can! Upcoming events from the college room are….. Campus visit/College Fair - on March 6th, we will travel to Jacksonville to tour Illinois College and participate in the Regional College Fair. Over 60 colleges will be at IC and you get lunch and a tour. If you are passing your classes, bring in one of the blue permission slips to save your space! Students check your email. This past weekend, Leah Robinson and Marissa Miller represented Southeast Key Club as delegates at the District Convention and Leadership Conference (DCLC). This year, Leah Robinson was honored with the 100-Hour Award for her outstanding commitment to her home, school, and community. Thank you, Southeast Key Club, for another year of exceptional service. ㅡ Sports | The Southeast Spartan cheerleaders are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and efficient cheerleaders to help spread the Spartan school spirit for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! Mandatory clinics will be held March 12th-14th from 5:30-8 pm in the Southeast gym. Tryouts will be on March 15th from 8 am-1 pm. If you have any questions please contact Coach Jade at jkittrell@sps186.org or Mrs. Williams in the main office. Boys tennis practice will start Wednesday, March 5th at 3:45 at the tennis courts on Ash Street. Any boys interested should show up, even if they don't own a tennis racket or know how to play. There will be a Softball Meeting After school in Mr. Volperts room 215 today (Thursday) for final information before Try-outs. Softball Try-Outs will be March 3 at 10am at LHS. ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone,headphones, and dress code referrals starting Wednesday, October 23. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements!
