Good Morning Southeast students and staff. It's Friday, January 17th, 2025! I’m _____________. 

Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school-wide expectations, allow for learning throughout the building, and can think critically.

Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Reminders please put your coats up, come in dress code, and put your cell phone off and away once we start the school day. This includes earbuds/headphones. Also, slight change if you lost a coat or jacket please check the table in the foyer before you get to the metal detectors. That is where they have all been placed. Thank you.

Night programs start Tuesday.  If you received a sheet from your academic assistant principal, please get it turned in so you know where to report for night school!

Sophomores should have received a career survey email from Mrs. Lewis, please take a minute to fill that out. Thank you.

UNITY DAY 2025 is Saturday, January 25th, 11 AM-1 PM at the BOS Center - in the lower level! Register this week by scanning the QR code.

Clubs/Opportunities

Poetry Club will meet TODAY from 3:30-4:00 pm in room 109. All are welcome to attend! Please see Mrs. Collins with any questions.

Key Club will meet on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 3:25-3:45 in room 110. We will also have a volunteer after-meeting activity 3:45-4:45.

Sports

Girls track will meet for conditioning TODAY from 3:30-5. Official track practice will begin Tuesday 1/21/25 @ 3:30pm!

There are still spots on the boys swim team. If you are interested, please contact T-Will in the main office.

There will be an open gym for any girl interested in softball this Sunday January 19th at Lanphier HS from 12-1:30PM. Those interested should bring their gloves, tennis shoes and appropriate attire and enter the school on the South side of LHS off North Grand. Open Gym will also be on Wednesdays 7-815pm at Lanphier high school Starting 1/22. If you or your parents missed the parent Meeting, go talk to Coach Porter in the College room to get the information.

Friday, January 17th- SE will host Wrestling City Duals starting at 5 PM

Boys Basketball will travel to Indiana for the Warrior Showcase this weekend. 

Saturday, January 18th -JV Wrestling at Glenwood, starts at 9 AM

Boys Swim will be traveling to Glenwood for a 2 PM meet

Collage Show Choir Choreography Rehearsal 9 AM - 4 PM

Awards/Celebrations

Coach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone,headphones, and dress code referrals starting Wednesday, October 23. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements! Stay referral free to win a gift card on Coach LT!
