District 186 Collage Show Choir is a collaborative effort of all three high schools to offer show choir as an extracurricular option for music students in District 186.
The show choir supports fine arts by asking that all participants be enrolled in music classes where they will gain music theory fundamentals, opportunities for consistent rehearsals, and music performance experiences at their schools.
The Collage co-op will expose students to a variety of genres while infusing dance and competition into the mix. They will perform locally and throughout the state!
Performing arts educator, Chrissy Mauck, is the director of SPS 186 Collage, and will be joined by a team of choreographers, arrangers, and musicians that are passionate about seeing the arts programs continue to grow in District 186.
United as one show choir, Collage will be music ambassadors who uphold the traditions of show choir established by the Lanphier "Lion's Pride," Southeast "Sensations," and Springfield "In Session" show choirs.
Tryouts will be November 9th at Southeast High School. Click here to sign-up
Students should sign up using the link or emailing the director at - cmauck@sps186.org
